HEAD PROTECTION
Head
protection
Did you know?
Head protection accounts
for only 3% of PPE
purchases, yet account
for over 20% of all workrelated injuries. Also, on
average people spend
£25-£30 on a pair of safety
boots, but only £5-£8 on
their safety helmet.
Correct head protection is essential
Construction sites without the correct
protection can potentially be very
dangerous places, especially when
it comes to head injuries. Accidents
involving potentially serious head injuries
can happen very quickly. Wearing the
appropriate head protection is inseparable
from wearer comfort. Safety helmets or
bump caps will only be worn all day if they
offer protection without loss of comfort.
